The Isle of Man proves a popular location for high net worth individuals as shown in the Scorpio Partnership Study (PDF), the world’s first index judging the attractiveness of the most popular financial centres to the mobile wealthy.

Whilst Switzerland takes top spot the Isle of Man continues to prove a popular destination for many high net worth individuals being the chosen jurisdiction for residency over Monaco, Dubai and Guernsey.

Shane Magee, chairman of Chrystals Estate Agents  says that” it is pleasing to note that independent research shows the advantages of living in the Isle of Man are being noted by a wider audience.

The aggressive tax policy of the United Kingdom will continue to drive new residents to our shores. It is also interesting to note that taxation is not the only factor high net worth residents take into account when looking for a new base in which to live.
